Homogenizer & Pressure Waves

The homogenizer forces milk through a tiny valve at high pressure. The pressure drop creates a sine wave and cavitation bubbles — which shatter fat globules into smaller particles. This is just PSI doing wave physics.

The sine wave connection: When milk is forced through the valve gap, pressure drops suddenly. Pressure oscillates — high → low → high — as the fluid passes through. That oscillation is a pressure wave. A sine wave. The same math as sound, the same math as the Bloop, the same math as the unit circle. The cavitation bubbles form and collapse at the pressure troughs, and that violent collapse is what actually breaks apart the fat globules. Increase PSI → taller wave → more violent cavitation → smaller fat globules → smoother homogenized milk.
